Last night was not only a big win for this season, but could also be a big night for the future as well. According to Jamie Shaw of the Phenom Hoops Report, Danny Manning and the staff hosted five of the top players in the state of North Carolina for 2018.

Great job by Danny Manning to get these guys on campus early on, especially against an in-state rival. There is a lot to be said about bringing guys in for games that are not against Duke and UNC, because it gives Wake a chance to exclusively recruit them without having to worry about the opponent appealing to them. That's not a slight to N.C. State, but they are clearly not on the level of Duke and UNC.
It will be interesting to keep tabs on the five above and see how we fare as the next couple of years progress.
