Former Wake Forest wide receiver, E.J. Scott, has been invited to attend the Buffalo Bills' rookie minicamp, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. He also attended the Baltimore Ravens' local prospect day. Earlier this week, former Wake Forest cornerback Bud Noel signed a contract with the Bills.
The Bills averaged 241 passing yards per game last season, which was 21st in the NFL. They spent last year's 1st round pick on former Clemson wide receiver standout, Sammy Watkins.
E.J. joined Wake Forest last season as a graduate transfer from the University of Virginia. He finished last season with 50 receptions, which was good for second on the team, for 513 yards, and 4 touchdowns. At Wake Forest's Pro Day, Scott ran the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds, and he performed 21 bench press repetitions of 225 pounds.
Best of luck to E.J. this weekend as he pursues his dream of playing in the NFL. Please continue to follow Blogger So Dear for the latest Wake Forest athletics news.
