When Noah Rubin defeated Chris Diaz in the second round of the NCAA Singles Championship, he set program history by becoming the first Demon Deacon to reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Singles Championship. Wake Forest's top doubles team, Skander Mansouri and Christian Seraphim, advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Doubles Championship. They did this by defeating a team from Alabama. #16 Romain Bogaerts was defeated by #47 Jeremy Efferding of Texas A&M.
7-seed Noah Rubin will play his sweet sixteen match today at 11 a.m. eastern He is set to take on #15 Yannick Hanfmann of USC. Hanfmann won his previous two matches (6-3,6-1) and (6-2,6-0), so he is in excellent form. Rubin won his previous match 6-3,6-2.
Mansouri and Seraphim will take on Baylor's duo of Julian Lenz and Diego Galeano today at 1 p.m. eastern.
