The 2015 version of #theaWAKEning started last April when offensive lineman T.J. Haney committed to Wake Forest. The 2016 version of #theaWAKEning kicks off in similar fashion with the commitment of Je'Vionte Nash out of Oakleaf High School in Orange Park, Florida. He is listed at 6'3" 282 pounds. Scout ranks Nash as a 3-star prospect and the 58th best offensive guard in the 2016 class. He chose Wake Forest over South Alabama and Idaho. He visited Wake Forest during a junior day in mid-February.
Nash was named to 3rd team all-state in Florida's class 7A for the 2014 season.
