Unfortunately, there are now only seven games remaining in the college basketball season. The good news is that the remaining games are all setting up to be excellent.
#1 Wisconsin vs. #2 Arizona at 6:09 p.m. eastern on TBS
Tonight's slate starts college basketball fans off the right away when #1 seed Wisconsin takes on #2 seed Arizona. Despite being a lower seed, the Arizona Wildcats are currently favored in Vegas. They have so much size and athleticism. Stanley Johnson is phenomenal, and he will be going against Frank Kaminsky of Wisconsin. This is appointment television for basketball fans.
#1 Kentucky vs. #3 Notre Dame at 8:49 p.m. eastern on TBS
Notre Dame was something else on Thursday night against Wichita State. The problem for the Irish is that Kentucky literally doubled up West Virginia. Notre Dame has the shooting to beat Kentucky, but they are severely lacking the size to compete on the glass with the Wildcats. If I'm Notre Dame coach Mike Brey, then I am running a zone against this team. Otherwise, Kentucky will likely score at will in the paint. Like everyone else, I like Kentucky in this game.
