Just over a week ago, Kyle Kearns, a 4-star quarterback out of Pleasanton, California verbally committed to play football for Wake Forest University beginning next season. Today, he made it official when he signed his national letter of intent. He is the number 12 pro-style quarterback in the 2015 recruiting class according to Rivals. This past season he completed 70% of his passes for 2,538 yards, 29 touchdown passes and just 4 interceptions. This was a critical addition to the 2015 class, as Wake Forest currently only has two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster - returning starter John Wolford and early enrollee Kendall Hinton. While all three are young, Wake Forest now has three talented quarterbacks on the roster.
