Nate Mays Signs with Wake Forest

Learn more about the commit from Georgia.

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

Nate Mays has officially signed with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Mays is an outside linebacker from Calhoun, Georgia, who attended Walton High School. Mays is listed as 6'2" 215 pounds and was a consensus three-star prospect. Mays was the 118th best outside linebacker in the country according to 247's composite ratings.  Mays originally committed to Wake Forest in July and chose the Deacs over Georgia State.

Mays was initially a "silent commit," but then broadcast on Twitter that he was, in fact, committed to the Demon Deacons. He possesses 4.5 speed and had a very productive senior season. This past year Mays made 145 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 interceptions and 2 pass deflections.

Please join me in welcoming Nate to Wake Forest!
