Tabari Hines has officially signed with the Demon Deacons. In June, he verbally committed to Wake Forest via his Twitter page. Hines is a 5'9" 160 pound 3-star slot receiver out of South Florence High School in Florence, South Carolina. Last season Hines had 55 receptions for 872 receiving yards and 17 receiving touchdowns. His team finished 12-1 and was ranked by MaxPreps as being the sixth best team in the state. His primary recruiter was Kevin Higgins.
Tabari, ranked as the No. 17 receiver in the state, was the first skill position player in the 2015 recruiting class to commit to Wake Forest. His hands, 4.43 speed and route running should make him one of quarterback Kendall Hinton's favorite receivers during his career. He is a fluid athlete who, based on his highlight tape, has the ability to contribute as a slot receiver and potentially punt returner from day one.
