Brent was a consensus 3-star prospect out of high school and ultimately chose South Carolina over North Carolina. He also had offers from a host of other Power Five schools. He has a strong pedigree and will be an excellent addition to Wake's team this season. Wake Forest is going to be very young at the receiver position, so this commitment can potentially allow Coach Clawson to use an additional redshirt this year which will help Wake out several years from now.
