Tyree Harris announced on his Twitter page that he will be transferring from Wake Forest University. The wide receiver played in eight games with six starts as a true freshman in 2013. His breakout performance was against Miami when he hauled in 6 receptions for 95 yards. Harris was then redshirted during the 2014 season to get stronger. In the 2015 season, however, Harris appeared in just 3 games, and finished with 2 receptions for 15 yards.
I want to thank Wake Forest University for the time being. I will be transferring from Wake Forest. I had a great time here. #NewChapter

But my education is very important to me, therefore I will be graduating early to get my degree & will have two extra years of eligibility.

We wish Tyree nothing but the best. It's very commendable that he will be able to graduate in three years, and be able to pursue a master's degree over the next two. Those are the kinds of excellent opportunities a football scholarship can provide, and it's great to see him placing such a high value on his education.
At this time it is unknown where Tyree will land. He is from Marietta, Georgia, and originally chose Wake Forest over Mississippi State. I think a number of schools will take a chance on him.
