By now you've probably seen the College Football Playoff commercials at least one million times, but in case you needed a reminder, the College Football Playoff semi-finals will begin this afternoon. The opening contest will put #1 Clemson against #4 Oklahoma. Despite being ranked #1 and undefeated, the Clemson Tigers are actually an underdog in this contest. They haven't look like the best team in the country for their past several games, but the rest could be a major boost to a team whose main question is depth. They should now be back to full strength with the exception of some notable suspensions.

Alabama had an early season loss to Ole Miss and everyone got very concerned about the Tide. The fact is, they had many unlucky turnovers, Ole Miss scored on some fluke plays. What's happened since? Alabama has been unstoppable. Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry must be thrilled to have had some rest, as he carried the ball 90 times over Alabama's last two games.

If you're watching, feel free to chat about the games with fellow Wake fans. We at Blogger So Dear hope that you all have a great new year.
