The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will look to shock the world on Saturday afternoon when they take on the #1 Clemson Tigers. The Deacs are coming off of a 28-7 loss at the #4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but Wake did out gain the Irish. Meanwhile, the #1 Clemson Tigers are coming off of a 37-27 victory at Syracuse. What can we expect to see in this afternoon's game?

If you look at Clemson's advanced statistics profile, you'll see that Clemson really does not have many weaknesses. In fact, they are quite good at nearly every aspect of the game. Their biggest weakness is that they have a tendency to give up explosive run plays. Perhaps Wake can exploit this, but the Deacs do not have any true home run threats in the backfield. In all likelihood, Clemson's pass rush is going to be too much for the Wake Forest offensive line to handle. They only allowed three sacks to Notre Dame, but Clemson's pass rush is on another level.

Wake is probably going to have great difficulty methodically moving the ball down the field. Instead, they are going to have to take some shots, and hope to connect on a few. When Wake is on defense, I fully expect Deshaun Watson to torch the Wake secondary.
