The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are coming off of a bye, but they are about to begin one of the most brutal stretches imaginable. The Deacs travel to #4 Notre Dame today, and then next week they will play at #1 Clemson. They will finish their season (assuming they don't miraculously win out) with a home game against Duke.
Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson says the team is as healthy as they have been since week two. Will that translate into better performances or will the talent differential be too overwhelming to tell? To be honest, I wish we could just simulate the next two football games and get to Duke. Still, Notre Dame and Clemson are legitimately elite. If we want to judge how much our younger players have grown, then these next two weeks will tell us a lot.
