Wake Forest will open the season on a Thursday against Elon. This game was originally thought to be on a Saturday. Wake's first ACC game will be on September 12th when they take on the Syracuse Orange. On October 3rd the Deacs will host the Florida State Seminoles, who will be looking to replace a lot of talent of talent from last year's team. Wake will host in-state rival North Carolina State on October 24th, and will host Louisville on the following Friday. Friday games are great for t.v., but not ideal for tailgating. We'll have more thoughts on the schedule later.
