Wake Forest has offered Toledo safety commit Jessie Bates out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. This offer came hours after former Wake Forest safety commit Dior Johnson decommitted from the Demon Deacons. Bates is a 3-star prospect, who is listed at 6-3, 185 pounds. Iowa and Minnesota are also interested.

Zach Harig talked to Bates, who had some interesting things to say about Wake Forest. At first he says he may visit Wake Forest "just to visit," but in his other comment he states that he will "most likely stay with Toledo."
