Marcus Marshall, a senior running back out of Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, announced at his school today that he has committed to Georgia Tech. He notified the school shortly before his public ceremony.
Marshall is a three-star prospect, who is ranked as the 94th best running back in the country according to 247 Sports' Composite Ratings. During his senior season he ran for 2,198 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also held offers from Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and James Madison. His official visit to James Madison was on November 1st, his Vanderbilt official visit was on November 7th, his Wake Forest official was on December 5th and his Georgia Tech official visit was this past weekend. Wake Forest will play at Georgia Tech in 2017.
Wake Forest is still pursuing running back Rocky Reid and all-purpose back Sihiem King. Reid was originally committed to Tennessee and is the 47th best running back in the country according to 247 Sports' Composite Ratings.
