The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are coming off their worst performance in more than a month and will hopefully come out rejuvenated, or pissed off as Danny Manning would say, against the Clemson Tigers. The Deacs were done no favors by the scheduling committee, as they have already hosted Duke, Louisville and North Carolina, with tough road trips to North Carolina State and Syracuse. Today marks the stretch of what should be very winnable games for the Demon Deacons. They are underdogs today (4 points according to Vegas), but they are legitimately the better team according to Ken Pom and the eye test.
Wake must come out with better energy than they did against North Carolina, particularly their second half performance. I expect the Deacs to compete hard today and be in a close one until the end. Join us as we watch the action and root our beloved Demon Deacons on to victory. Go Deacs!
