Wake Forest Football Recruiting Update: 1/15

The recruiting dead period is over. How are Wake Forest coaches planning on finishing out the 2015 recruiting class?

Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

National Signing Day is now just 20 days away and the recruiting dead period is over, which means coaches can visit with recruits in-person. At Blogger So Dear, we will be ramping up our football recruiting coverage as our coaching staff makes its final push to finish out a historic 2015 recruiting class. Let's take a look at the latest news on January 15th.

Rocky Reid Sets Official Visit at Wake Forest (247)

The Concord, North Carolina native decommitted from Tennessee several weeks ago and is a highly sought after prospect. Reid is a 3-star recruit and would fill one of Wake Forest's biggest needs - running back. Reid has set an official visit for Wake Forest the weekend of January 23rd. He will also be taking official visits to Louisville and West Virginia.

Also a nice little fun fact, Reid is related to former Wake Forest standout Kenny Moore.

The Deacs are also in the mix for this running back, though it appears that Georgia Tech is the favorite.

Wake Forest Visits OL Quarvez Boulware

Wake Forest is in Quarvez Boulware's top-two, along with Maryland, and the Deacs will be sending OL coach Nick Tabacca along with TE coach/special teams coordinator Adam Scheier to visit with Boulware today. Boulware would be a massive get in more ways than one.
