The Demon Deacons take their show on the road for the first time in 2014 when they travel to the Carrier Dome for the first time in Wake basketball history. Syracuse leads the all-time series 2-0 including a 67-57 win last season at the Joel. For Wake to pull off their first win on the road, they will need to bring an aggressive gameplan against the unique 2-3 Syracuse zone defense. The Orange will be looking to overcome the absence of freshman starter Chris McCullough, who is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered Sunday Night against Florida State.
Will Danny Manning be able to overcome Wake Forest's road woes over the past few seasons? If they are going to succeed, Devin Thomas will need to continue his recent hot streak and the Deacs will have to get good looks from outside from freshmen Mitchell Wilbekin, Cornelius "Crab" Hudson, and Dinos Mitoglou. Do you guys think Wake will pull off the win? Stop by and chat before, during, and after the game. And as always, go Deacs!
