Checking in on the 2015 Deacon Basketball Signees

A look at some videos compiled thus far in the 2014-2015 high school season for Wake Forest signees Bryant Crawford, Doral Moore and John Collins.

Since we're probably around the middle of the high school basketball season and I've seen a good number of these videos floating around Twitter thus far, I thought it'd be a good time to compile these clips into one place for you to enjoy.  Obviously highlight clips don't tell the whole story, but it is always fun to get a peek at what you can expect to see in the next few seasons as Danny Manning gets it rolling.

First up is the only guard in the class and the first commit for 2015 that really got things started, Bryant Crawford.  Crawford plays for Gonzaga in the DC area and is known as a fantastic facilitator who is also physical and can score at all 3 levels.

The other two Wake Forest commits in the class stand much taller and play their basketball in the state of Florida.  Doral Moore is playing his final year of HS on one of the best teams in the nation and alongside the best player in high school, Ben Simmons. As a result, they don't rely on the 7 footer as much as most high school teams would, but he has certainly had his moments so far this season.  It is going to be exciting to see what noted big man coach Danny Manning can do with the ridiculously high upside that Doral possesses.

Finally, John Collins is having a great season at Cardinal Newman in West Palm Beach, Florida.  The level of competition that he faces there is not quite what Moore sees at Montverde, but Collins is the focus of the other team game in and game out and routinely fills up the stat sheet with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds.  As you can see from the videos, Collins lives in the paint and is not kind to rims.  Young for his class, Collins is another guy that is going to be an important piece for the Deacs going forward.

We'll keep you posted on the 2015 trio as they get into the 2nd half of their seasons.  Can't wait for all three to put on the Old Gold & Black!
