To be perfectly honest, I probably missed on this one. I still absolutely believe Adam Centers will be a great kicker for us in the future. After all, ESPN rated him as the number 3 kicker in the 2014 recruiting class. He chose Wake Forest over Virginia, and that was a huge recruiting win for our program. However, it's looking as though I ranked Chad Hedlund too low. We will know more after the scrimmage, but I'm now expecting Hedlund to be the starter when the team travels to take on Louisiana Monroe in the season opener. If that does happen, then I would expect Centers to redshirt, as he'd be far more valuable in the future.
