Bryant Gross-Armiento Transfers to Wake Forest

Wake Forest has landed the transfer from Rutgers.

Rich Schultz

Wake Forest has added Bryant Gross-Armiento to its roster. Gross-Armiento is a transfer from Rutgers, who redshirted during the 2013 season. He will have to sit out the 2014 season, but will be eligible beginning in the 2015 season.  He arrived on campus today, and will begin practicing with the team once he passes his physical. He was seen at practice observing the other defensive backs. In high school, Gross-Armiento's primary recruiter was current Demon Deacon defensive line coach Dave Cohen.

Gross-Armiento is a former 3-star recruit, who chose Rutgers over offers from LSU and Purdue. He is listed at 6'1" 190 pounds, and is capable of playing either corner or safety. In 2015 he will add depth to a secondary which will lose a pair of senior corners in Kevin Johnson and Merrill Noel. The Deacs will also lose safety Anthony Wooding, Jr.
