Player Countdown: No. 14 OL Josh Harris

Offensive lineman Josh Harris is No. 14 on the Blogger So Dear player countdown.

Sophomore offensive lineman Josh Harris is the number 14 player on the BSD countdown. Harris played in 10 games last year as a true freshman, with his first career start coming against Florida State on November 9th.

Based on what we have seen at practice, Harris will likely be the starting right guard when we open against ULM next Thursday night.

Harris, like sophomore Cory Helms, attended Milton High School in Georgia. He was a first-team all-state and all-region for his class as a senior.

He chose Wake Forest over Maryland, UNC and USF, and was primarily recruited by former offensive line coach Jonathan Himebauch.

At 6-4, 310 pounds, Harris has shown a lot of promise so far in practice. His lateral foot speed has improved, and he seems to have a good grasp on the schemes that are being run on the line.

Assuming no injuries, I think the RG position is Harris' for the next few years. The continuity with the rest of the line will also continue to get better, and I expect big things moving forward for the OLine.
