Wake Forest Football Recruiting: Dior Johnson Commits to Wake Forest

The Deacs have landed the 3-star safety out of Michigan.

2015 safety Dior Johnson (6'2" 195 pounds) out of Southfield, Michigan  has committed to Wake Forest. Johnson is a consensus 3-star prospect and was rated as the 24th best safety in the 2015 class by Rivals.com. The football recruiting writers love this kid. He chose Wake Forest over offers from Illinois and Indiana, among others. Just several days ago our own Shayn Fernandez highlighted him in-depth.

Dior Johnson will continue the theme of having defensive backs who are at least six feet tall. He will provide excellent versatility to defensive coordinator Mike Elko's 4-2-5 scheme. Johnson has strong instincts and tackling abilities.
