Dior Johnson is a 6'2 195lb safety from Southfield, Michigan. He is a 3 star prospect and ranked the 7th best player in the state of Michigan, according to Rivals. Johnson currently holds power offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina State and Wake Forest. Though Wake Forest is considered the leader in landing the talented safety.
Wake Forest offered me today and I feel very geeked about it. #Blessed #ACC #GrindSeason pic.twitter.com/d9zXsiEc06

Dior is very intelligent and physical safety who excels in both the run and the pass. His athleticism and size will allow him to make a smooth transition into playing safety at the Division 1 level. Judging by the film below, his greatest asset is his instinct, as he consistently tracks the ball and finds the body. Johnson also has a ball hawk mentality, and with some catching improvement he would be an even bigger threat. It is often difficult for high school safeties to avoid over committing to the run or the pass, however Dior avoids this tendency. Johnson would look great in #CarolinaBlack and would compete for early playing time with the change to the 4-2-5 defense.
