Adam Smith of The Times News is reporting that Elon has replaced their 2015 trip to Boston College with a trip to play Wake Forest. No date has officially been set, but Wake Forest has a known home date on September 26th against Indiana. Additionally, Wake Forest has non-conference games at Notre Dame (November 14th) and at Army (TBD).

Wake Forest last played Elon in 2009 and won 35-7. Overall, Wake is 9-0-1 against Elon, but have only played the Phoenix once since World War II. Last season Elon went just 2-10 overall, including 1-7 in conference. They finished 209th out of 252 teams in Jeff Sagarin's predictor ratings.
