Player Countdown: No. 48 WR Brandon Terry

WR Brandon Terry is entering his fifth and final year as Demon Deacon, he is number 48 in our player countdown

Stacy Revere

Wide receiver Brandon Terry is No. 48 in Blogger So Dear's Wake Forest player countdown. The 6-5, 210 redshirt senior from Alpharetta, Georgia will be counted on to provide stability at a position very much in flux. After a solid sophomore season with 15 catches for 290 yards, Terry regressed last year with injuries and got down on the depth chart.

Terry provides a very solid body for blocking, something that he has done very well during his time as a Demon Deacon. He also has good speed, clocking in at 4.49 in the 40-meter dash coming out of high school. During his redshirt freshman season Terry was a member of the track team, competing in the 200-meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay.

With the departure of Michael Campanaro, Terry is one of several players looking to impress the coaching staff at the wideout spot.

He showed that he can be a deep threat in the Spring Game, leading the Deacs with 52 yards receiving on two catches, including a 46 yard reception from Kevin Sousa.

I think Terry will provide good leadership for the team and will be an asset at the position this year. He has shown flashes of potential in the past and I believe it will come together for him for a solid season.
