The #aWAKEning continues to strike as Wake Forest secured a commitment from 2015 safety/linebacker Justin Strnad out of East Lake High School in Palm Harbor, Florida earlier this afternoon. Justin stands at 6'3" 205 pounds and could conceivably play the rover position in defensive coordinator Mike Elko's 4-2-5 scheme.

Strnad is a 2-star prospect who chose Wake Forest over offers from Duke, Illinois, Iowa State and Central Florida. Strnad continues the theme of Wake Forest secondary coach Derrick Jackson recruiting taller defensive backs. Fellow 2015 commits Dionte Austin and Christian Matthew stand at 6'0" and 6'2", respectively. 2014 safeties Cameron Glenn and Demetrius Kemp stand at 6'2" and 6'0", respectively.
