Number 52 in our countdown leads us to the No. 14 center in the class of 2014 in center A'Lique Terry. Terry played his high school football in Hialeah (FL), where he was named 3rd team all-state in Class 8A in the state of Florida.
Measuring in at 6-1, 300 pounds, Terry has a great ability to get the snap off and get low in a hurry. He chose Wake Forest over Cincinnati, ECU, Florida International South Florida, and a plethora of other teams.
Terry was the team captain for Hialeah as a junior and senior, and was ranked as one of the best 25 players in Dade County in 2014.
In all likelihood, he will begin the year backing up Cory Helms at the center position, but I will go ahead and speculate that he makes a transition to guard so he can see the field sooner rather than later. A player with his talent will see the field one way or another and we at Blogger So Dear see him contributing greatly moving forward for the Deacs.
