Coming in at number 57 on our Wake Forest player countdown is incoming freshman Cameron Glenn. Glenn is a 6'2" 185 pound safety out of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He was a 3-star recruit and ESPN rated him as the 29th best safety in the 2014 recruiting class. Glenn had 92 tackles last season, including 8 tackles for loss, and five interceptions during his senior season. He chose Wake Forest over Indiana, Michigan State, Syracuse and Iowa State.
Cameron is probably the fourth best safety on the roster behind Ryan Janvion, Anthony Wooding Jr. and Thomas Brown. Because of this he'll probably play as a true freshman. Even if he doesn't play much safety, he has a strong chance to contribute on special teams. Given his size, speed, and tackling ability, he's an ideal type of player to contribute on special teams. His athleticism, instincts and aggressiveness will be assets to this year's Wake Forest football team.
Later today we'll reveal who comes in at number 56.
