Wake Forest Player Countdown: No. 59 OG Justin Herron

The countdown continues with No. 59, offensive guard Justin Herron.

Justin Herron is a true freshman out of The Bullis School in Maryland, and is also No. 59 in our Wake Forest player countdown. Herron is a 6-foot-4, 265 pound offensive guard. He is expected to redshirt, but may have a chance to be a rotational player for the Deacs this season.

Coach Clawson got Herron to flip from Rutgers to Wake Forest in January. He chose Wake over Rutgers, Penn State and Maryland. He hails from Silver Springs, Maryland, and flipped his commitment to the Deacs because he felt that Wake Forest was a place where he could "really excel".

Below is his highlight reel from the 2014 Signing Day Luncheon. It will be interesting to see what the staff does with Herron, as he has a good frame already to contribute immediately. Herron should be a long-term projected starter, and this year will be pivotal in his development under Clawson and the staff to get the reps necessary to get there.
