Wake Forest Football Recruiting: WR Alex Bachman Commits to Wake Forest

Student Sports

Wide receiver Alex Bachman announced on Twitter this afternoon that he has committed to play football for Wake Forest University. He received his offer today and verbally committed shortly thereafter. He is out of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California.

Bachman earned his scholarship offer by performing  at a very high level during Wake Forest's football camp on June 12th (videos below). I'm told he performed extremely well in the combine evaluations. Bachman will be the third wide receiver in the 2015 recruiting class, and will be joining Tabari Hines out of South Carolina and Steven Claude out of Florida. Receivers will be needed moving forward as Wake Forest 2014 signee wide receiver Kam Uter has opted to sign a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. E.J. Scott, Matt James & Brandon Terry will also graduate following the season.

Please join me in welcoming Alex to Wake Forest! You can follow him on Twitter @DavidABachman.
