Coming in at number 84 in our player countdown is Nick Luedeke, who is a freshman offensive lineman. Luedeke comes to Wake Forest by way of Holly Springs High School in Cary, North Carolina, and enrolled at Wake Forest this past December. Last summer he attended a Wake Forest football camp and impressed the coaching staff enough for them to offer two weeks later. Luedeke accepted the scholarship offer on the spot. 247 rated Luedeke as the 25th best center in the nation and the 50th best player in the state of North Carolina last season. ESPN rated him as the 15th best center in the country.
Luedeke comes in at number 84 on our list because he is listed at just 250 pounds, which means he is far removed from the weight needed to play at an ACC level. I rated him slightly above Anderson because of his versatility and high school ranking. That said, I would be shocked if either player saw the field this season and I highly anticipate each player redshirting.
Check in tomorrow to find out who is number 83 on our list.
