Nevone McCrimmon is a 6' 215lb running back from Mount Saint Joseph High school in Baltimore, MD. During the past two seasons, Nevone has rushed for over 2,000 yards, averaging 106.6 rushing yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry. He is the 24th best player from the state of Maryland, according to 247 Sports.
McCrimmon is a power back that has the frame to handle a heavy work load as well as the blocking and receiving skills to play every down. He has very quick feet in traffic and the vision the follow his blocks while exploding through the hole. Nevone may not possess "true breakaway speed" but his initial step is explosive enough to catch the defense off guard for a big play, as shown below. Perhaps the most impressive asset I saw from watching his tape was his ability to lower his shoulders and run downhill while also keeping his eyes up-field to anticipate a cutting lane.

Nevone holds offers from Boston College, Connecticut, Toledo as well as the Deacs. I believe Nevone would be a great addition to the Clawfense and would have a legitimate shot at early playing time. You can follow Nevone on Twitter @TopKeptSecret.
