Wake Forest Will Play Minnesota in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge

Wake Forest will host the defending N.I.T. champions.

Wake Forest is set to host Minnesota on Tuesday, December 2nd in the 16th annual ACC-Big 10 Challenge this upcoming season. The schedule was released by ESPN at 4 p.m. this afternoon. The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have played in the challenge in 13 of the 15 seasons and have a record of 10-3 in those 13 games. The two seasons in which the Demon Deacons did not participate were 2006 and 2013. Minnesota joins Xavier and Florida as the known non-conference opponents for Wake Forest this upcoming season. Last season Minnesota went 25-13 overall, including 8-10 in Big 10 play. Minnesota, led by Richard Pitino, went on to win the N.I.T. when they defeated SMU 65-63.
