It appears that Danny Manning will be bringing with him at least one assistant from Tulsa.

According to Steve Woodberry's personal Twitter account, he will be an assistant on Danny Manning's staff at Wake Forest. Woodberry was a member of Manning's staff at Tulsa for the past two seasons.

Prior to his tenure at Tulsa, Woodberry was an assistant coach at Missouri State from 2006 to 2012. While at Missouri State, Woodberry was under the tutelage of Cuonzo Martin, who recently led Tennessee to the Sweet Sixteen. Half of the Missouri State teams which Woodberry was a part of were top 60 nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency. According to Tulsa's website, Woodberry was also heavily involved in the recruitment of Kyle Weems, who was a three-time first-team Missouri Valley Conference performer. In all, Woodberry coached five players who went onto play professionally.

Woodberry played for Roy Williams at Kansas from 1990 to 1994 where he played on two Final Four teams and finished with 1,240 career points.

Please welcome Steve Woodberry to Wake Forest!
