Paris Black, a defensive end from the class of 2015, has committed to Wake Forest. The announcement came down just hours before the spring game was set to take place. Black, 6'4" 235 lbs, chose Wake over offers from Hampton, James Madison and East Carolina.
Black received an offer and took an unofficial visit to East Carolina over the past couple of months but ultimately decided that Wake Forest was the best fit for him. The defensive end attends Terry Sanford high school where he recorded 70 tackles (18 for loss) and two sacks in the 2013 season. He primarily lines up on the strong side and is considered the 40th best player in the state of North Carolina in the class of 2015.
Overall, 24/7 rates Black as a three star who is the 54th best strong defensive end in the nation.
