Wake Forest National Signing Day: Specialists

Wake Forest has signed every one of their 25 commits. Now it's time to provide a profile of each player. This article will feature the specialists.

Meet the two newest specialist commits. Welcome to Wake Forest!

Adam Centers (6-0/195) Coppell (Texas)

Adam Centers may be "just" a kicker, but he is a tremendous addition to this football program. Centers was rated as the number 3 kicker in the class of 2014 according to ESPN and was named an Under Armour All-American. He converted all 57 of his PATs last season and made 7 of 9 field goal attempts, with a long of 52 yards. He can also punt, but with Alex Kinal on the roster I would expect him to be used primarily as a place kicker at Wake Forest. Time will tell if current kicker Chad Hedlund graduates after the spring, but Centers will most definitely be the team's starting place kicker by 2015.

Nick Luedeke (6-5/250) Holly Springs (North Carolina)

Nick Luedeke is a North Carolina product and versatile offensive lineman who will most likely play long snapper for Wake Forest. Luedeke enrolled early at Wake Forest and has been participating in the off-season conditioning program and will also participate in spring practice. The current long-snapper is Logan Feimster out of Statesville, North Carolina. He will be a red shirt senior this fall, and if you haven't heard of him before that's a compliment to a long snapper. I'd look for Luedeke to redshirt this year and then potentially be the team's long snapper starting in 2015.
