Bryant Crawford Officially Signs With Wake Forest

Lance King

Bryant Crawford was the first pledge of Danny Manning's 2015 recruiting class, and this afternoon he was true to his commitment when he signed his national letter of intent to play basketball at Wake Forest University. The coaching staff is ecstatic and Wake Forest fans should be too.

Crawford is a dynamic point guard who has the ability to start from day one. He is an excellent athlete who has a strong feel for the game and a nice jump shot. The consensus 4-star point guard chose the Demon Deacons over offers from SMU, Georgetown, and others.

Crawford was arguably the most important commitment for Danny Manning and his staff. In addition to filling a need at point guard, Crawford's commitment was the catalyst of a top-25 recruiting class that also includes 4-star big men John Collins and Doral Moore. It was also incredible to see Manning beat out Georgetown for a Washington, D.C. prospect.

Please join me in officially welcoming Bryant to Wake Forest. Go Deacs!
