John Collins Officially Signs With Wake Forest

Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

John Collins, a 4-star power forward out of Florida, has signed his national letter of intent to play basketball at Wake Forest University. Collins verbally committed to Wake Forest on October 11th following an official visit, and chose Wake Forest over offers from Memphis and Miami.

Collins is an athletic big man, who will play meaningful minutes for the Demon Deacons beginning in his freshman season. He will allow Wake Forest to play an up-tempo game and he also has good touch around the basket when the Deacs get in half court situations. He should provide Devin Thomas and the Greek Deac good support off the bench next season. With Collins, Wake Forest will have front court depth for the first time in years.

Please join me in officially welcoming John to Wake Forest!
