Earlier this week it was Doral Moore who committed to Danny Manning and Wake Forest, and today it was reported by Jeff Goodman that 4-star John Collins has committed to the Deacs as well.
Wake Forest picks up commitment from John Collins, source told ESPN.
— Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) October 11, 2014
Collins is listed at 6-8, 220 pounds by ESPN and chose Wake Forest over Miami, Tennessee and several other schools. He plays at Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach as a power forward.
Along with the commitment of Moore earlier this week, the front court of Wake Forest has been bolstered quite impressively moving forward. Under the tutelage of Danny Manning one can only assume that the inside game will be a huge positive moving forward.
Wake Forest's 2015 recruiting class is now presumably complete. It consists of point guard Bryant Crawford, center Doral Moore and power forward John Collins - all of whom are 4-star recruits.
Stay tuned to Blogger So Dear for all your recruiting news and more on the John Collins commitment. Welcome to Wake Forest John, we are happy to have you and cannot wait to see you on campus! This should cement the Deacs top 20 recruiting class in 2015 and also wrap up everything on that front.
