Zack Wary stands at 6'4", 215 pounds and is from Rogers, Arkansas. Wary had his official visit to Wake Forest last weekend and ultimately decided to commit to Wake Forest following in-house visits today with both Wake Forest and Boise State. He was originally schedule to officially visit Boise State this weekend, but he cancelled the visit following his commitment to Wake Forest. Wary is rated an 89 overall according to 247 and his composite rating would make him the 6th best prospect in the class. Five of the six highest rated recruits in the 2014 class have committed since January 22nd.

Wary is a versatile defender, who can play both safety and linebacker. That versatility could fit very well into a rover position in Clawson's anticipated 4-2-5 defensive scheme. His highlight reel is very impressive. His academic accomplishments are also outstanding. He boasts an ACT of 33, which could easily get him into Ivy League schools based purely on his academic ability. I've also been told he's a very humble kid. He just appears to be a perfect fit for this program.
In addition to Boise State, Wary also had offers from Arkansas, Indiana and Tulsa.
Please join me in welcoming Zack to the Deacs!
