The Triad Pro-Am Summer League, one of our favorite events of the year to cover, kicks off next week at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville. This year all Wake Forest scholarship players will be in action with the exception of redshirt sophomore Daniel Green and incoming freshman Greg McClinton, who are both recovering from ACL tears.
In case you haven't been able to make it to the league before, here are a few of the basics:
- The event takes place at Forsyth Country Day School located in Lewisville, NC
- Admission and parking are free and there will be concessions available for purchase
- Games will be played on Monday & Thursday nights from July 8th - August 2nd.
- Each night of the 'regular season' features three games starting at roughly 6:15 and ending around 9:30.
From a Demon Deacon perspective, the players on the 2013-2014 roster are paired on five of the six teams as follows:
Grace, Tisdale & Clifton, P.A: Devin Thomas, Miles Overton and LD Williams
Modern Nissan of Winston-Salem: Travis McKie and Coron Williams
Salem Smiles Orthodonics: Tyler Cavanaugh and Madison Jones
Champion Athletic: Arnaud William (Bill) Adala Moto and Andre Washington
Ziglar Health Insurance Agency: Aaron Rountree and Codi Miller-McIntyre
Stay tuned to BSD throughout the summer league, as we plan to provide plenty of coverage. For any other details, including the nightly schedules, please see the official Triad Pro-Am site at http://triadproam.playerspace.com
