Aaron Rountree nominated to 2014 Allstate NABC Good Works Teams

Rountree's commitment to volunteering in the community has earned him a nomination to the 2014 Allstate Good Works team.

Wake Forest's Aaron Rountree III was among 201 nominees for the 2014 Allstate NABC and WBCA Good Works Teams announced Tuesday morning. Per the official release, the award "...recognizes a select group of college basketball student-athletes who have made significant contributions to the greater good of their communities through volunteerism and civic service."

Rountree, a sophomore, has traveled to St. Vincent and the Grenadines via Hope Ministries to help clean up local parks and conduct clinics for local youth. Closer to home, Rountree is involved with Eat with the Deacs, an organization designed to partner Demon Deacon student-athletes with area youth for the purpose of mentoring. Finally, Rountree is active with the Skip Prosser Literacy Program, having read to local elementary school children during the program's kickoff event.
