SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011

Alabama has successfully convinced 89 of the 90 voters in the SBNation Blogpoll Top 25 to vote them #1 in the country after their 52-0 dismantling of the Arkansas Razorbacks. All in all that's a pretty impressive feat three weeks into the season. The other kicker is that the other #1 vote went to Stanford, as a result of the Iowa blog Black Heart Gold Pants, who does a strictly resume based voting system. That's really impressive for Alabama.

Other than that the poll looks pretty similar to the AP Top 25. Nobody knew where to put USC and that is evident by looking at the breakdown of where voters put them. We had them at 8th, which three other voters did as well, tying us for the highest that anybody had them ranked.

Northwestern got into the top 25, with Rutgers coming in at what looks like 33rd place. That will be interesting to keep an eye on. I'm not really sold on Ohio yet but they don't have any tests left in front of them other than Buffalo in two weeks. They could possibly be looking at an undefeated season, but I'm guessing they will slip up somewhere in the crazy MAC season.

Editors Note: I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the Blogpoll centered. It's something in the HTML that works fine with my posting our ballot, but not the finalized one. Sorrrrrrrry.
