SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011

Once again the Alabama Crimson Tide took the overall #1 spot in the SBNation Blogpoll. Their 35-0 trouncing of Western Kentucky did nothing to deter most voters from putting them at #1. LSU did make a jump over USC into the #2 spot.

Oregon suffered two big season-ending injuries, but are still at #4 in the Blogpoll. Georgia was noticed by voters after their dominance of Mizzou on Saturday as well as they catapulted three spots up to #5.

Wake Forest was actually ranked in three blogpoll ballots. All three of them were done as true "power rankings", in that the poll ranks teams on who they have beaten instead of how good they supposedly are (therefore Louisiana-Monroe is 4th in a couple of them). The Deacs rank 25th on two ballots and 20th on Blatant Homerism's blog (Oklahoma).

Overall the Deacs came in at 47th compared to 42nd in the USA Today poll.

Ohio, UCLA and Florida entered the Blogpoll this week.
