According to his own Twitter account, Ford Howell switched his commitment from N.C. State to Wake Forest earlier today. Howell is a three star hailing from Memphis University School in Memphis, Kentucky. He is ranked as the 91st best linebacker in the country.

He also held offers from N.C. State, Lehigh and Western Kentucky.

A quote that was found from Ryan Tice, writer for the Wolfpacker included this quote from Ford himself:

Ford Howell just confirmed the switch in a text message. "I'm switching for good. I can't turn down that education," he said.

This pickup continues another strong week of recruiting for Jim Grobe and his staff, coming just the day after signing DT Kyle Shortridge out of the state of Florida.
