WFU Football: Wake Lands 5th Recruit In Four Days In OL Josh Harris

Watch out J-Roc, there's another Josh Harris headed to Winston-Salem, and he's a little bigger than you are. No slight to your rather muscular frame, but not sure even you could take down the newest Wake Forest recruit, Josh Harris, an offensive lineman hailing from Milton HS in Georgia (looks to be the same high school as recent commit Cory Helms).

Harris is listed at 6'4, 295. He can already bench 405 pounds, and it looks like the Deacs pulled him away from his childhood team growing up in the Tennessee Volunteers. He made some recent visits to South Florida and was looking at a visit to Georgia as well.

Offers included Maryland, South Florida, South Alabama and Wake Forest (according to ESPN.com). He is a 3-star, ranking 39th in his position in the country. That offensive line In Milton must be one heckuva force to be reckoned with if they have a top 10 center in Helms and a top 40 lineman in Harris.

Sounds like Wake got on these guys/the coaching staff early and really pounded home the great points of Wake Forest. Harris was interested in all of the college experience, especially academics and the coaching staff.

It looks like new OL Coach Himebauch is really getting the kids he wants early on. Seems to be a great coaching hire so far, if not just for the recruiting side (which is obviously not all he will bring)!

Welcome aboard Josh! This is a decision you will be happy with for the rest of your life!
