WFU Football: Wake nabs OL Taylor Chambers (6'8, 295 ) for '13

After the first two commits of the year in Cameron Gardner and Cory Helms, the Deacs kept rolling this morning as they grabbed Taylor Chambers out of Irmo, SC. He is officially listed at 6'8, 295, and has only been playing organized football for two seasons now.

You cannot teach a frame of 6'8, 295, and with the other two guys listed at 6'6, 276 (Gardner) and 6'4, 290 (Helms), it seems that the Deacs are going all big, all the time at the offensive line positions for the class of 2013.

Chambers had offers from Southern Mississippi and Wake Forest, pretty warm interest from Clemson, N.C. State, South Carolina and Georgia. It seems on all accounts that Chambers is a guy that is about to blow up based on his limited time playing football and his size.

All in all, this is a pretty big landing from Coach Grobe and the rest of the staff and with a red-shirted year, Chambers should prove to be a pretty valuable asset in the future.
