WBBall: Wake Forest takes on the No. 25 UNC Tar Heels

Sylvsuit_medium

The Wake Forest women's basketball team will look to bounce back from a 64-39 defeat at top ten team Miami on Thursday as they take on the No.25 North Carolina Tar Heels in the LJVM at 2:00 today.

UNC comes into the game with a 15-5 record (5-2 in the ACC), but have won their last three games in the ACC after an embarrassing loss to Connecticut 86-35. The Deacs are 12-8 (2-5), are looking to get back on the winning track that they were on earlier in the year, as they have dropped their last 4 out of 5 games, all against ACC opponents.

Senior center Chay Shegog leads the Tar Heels in scoring and rebounding at 16.5 ppg and 7.9 rpg. The Deacs will need strong efforts from Sandra Garcia and Lindsy Wright to shut her down inside the perimeter.

The projecting lineups for each team are after the jump, and all the game talk can be posted here in the comment section.

For those of y'all that can't make it out today, the game can be heard live on WakeForestSports.com, as Cabell Philpott will take the play-by-play, and Roper Halverson will do the color commentary. Also, twitter updates can be found at @sports_ogb throughout the game.
